ACTIVITIES.  Information on the optional pre- and post-conference
activities (scuba diving and jeep excursion) will be posted soon.
Diving options include a full certification course, open water course
for those who do the coursework online before they arrive in Bonaire,
and resort/discover scuba course for those not interested in pursuing
certification.  If you are planning to attend the conference and are
interested in either of these activities, please send an email to
fc12general at ifca.ai, not as a commitment to anything but just as an
expression of possible interest.

Financial Cryptography and Data Security is a major international
forum for research, advanced development, education, exploration, and
debate regarding information assurance, with a specific focus on
commercial contexts.  We have assembled a vibrant program featuring 29
peer-reviewed research paper presentations, a panel on laws and
regulations hindering the adoption of privacy enhancing technologies,
and a keynote address by Scott Zoldi.  Two affilliated workshops (on
Usable Security and Ethics in Computer Security Research) will be
